The families of young people unaccounted for after a devastating fire at a establishment in a Switzerland's ski resort are enduring an agonising wait for answers and pleading for clues about their children publicly.

The fire ripped through the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the early hours of January 1st. Verified images show the ceiling catching alight as beverages with sparklers are raised in celebration.

Emergency services have warned that it could take considerable time to identify the fatalities of the disaster, which resulted in the death of numerous partygoers and injured another over a hundred. A spokesperson stated on Friday that 113 of the injured have been identified, with efforts ongoing to identify the remaining few.

In the meantime, relatives have been using social media to appeal for information about their missing relatives who were at the bar that evening.

Appeals for the Unaccounted For

Alice Kallergis, who holds dual Swiss and Greek citizenship but lives permanently in Switzerland, was also present on that night, according to sources.
